Casualties

In July 2022, there were two recorded incidents of explosive weapon use in the Netherlands, which resulted in three civilian injuries, at least one of whom was a child. There were no armed-actor casualties recorded in the Netherlands in July. 

On 09 July 2022, two civilians, including one child, were injured when an IED was thrown by unknown perpetrators into or near their apartment on the fourth floor of an apartment building in Delft.

Casualties

There was one incident of explosive weapon use in the Netherlands in September 2021, resulting in two armed-actor casualties. On 30 September, one member of a gang was killed and another injured while trying to blow up a cash machine with an IED in Utrecht.
