In November 2022, there was one incident of explosive weapon use in Israel which resulted in civilian casualties.

On 23 November 2022, a 16 year old was killed and another 19 civilians were injured in a twin IED attack on bus stops in Jerusalem. The bombs were reported to have been remotely detonated.

On 06 July 2022, one man was killed in a car bomb explosion as he entered a parking lot in Zikhron Ya'akov, Haifa. The perpetrators are unknown.

On 07 June 2022, an activist and daughter of Shfaram’s deputy mayor was killed by an IED explosion in her car in the town of Shfaram.

In February 2022, there were two incidents of explosive weapon use recorded in Israel, resulting in six civilian casualties, three of whom were killed and three injured. There were no recorded armed-actor casualties. 

The highest casualty incident took place on 12 February 2022, when two civilians were killed and one injured in an IED blast in a car in Dahamash, Ramle, central Israel.

On 25 Janurary 2022, a woman and child were both injured by a car bomb in Rehovot, central Israel, detonated by unknown non-state actors.

In October 2021, there was one incident of explosive weapon use in which two civilian men were injured. On 21 October 2021, a car bomb detonated in an urban residential area of Nahariya, in northern Israel, causing serious injuries to two civilian men.

Across eight incidents, Israel suffered 96 civilian casualties and six armed-actor casualties. 86 of the civilian casualties were injured, 10 were killed, and were reportedly children. All incidents were perpetrated by Hamas, using ground-launched weapons, including rockets (4), missiles (2), shelling (1), and mortars (1). The highest casualty incident took place on 11 May, when Hamas fired rockets that hit residential areas in southern Israel killing five civilians and injuring 70.
